Since 2014, Proyecto Lando and choreographer Carmen Roman's Cunamacue Dance Company have established a creative partnership exploring the possibilities of combining Afro-Peruvian dance and music with contemporary elements such as jazz and modern dance. Their original collaborative works have been featured in the Cuba Caribe Festival, the Ethnic Dance Festival and the Black Choreographer Festival, among others.
